Green Tea a real Miracle

"Better to be deprived of food for three days, than tea for one." (Ancient Chinese Proverb)
For over 4000 years Asian culture has always been an font of knowledge for Natural and completely organic medicine…
How many times have we been in Chinatown simply staring at the large stock-hole of miracle cures they offer?
Well in one respect, one of the secrets of Chinese medicine is GREEN TEA.
The creation of this blend of tea is almost identical to all other forms of this brew. Leaves from Camellia sinensis” are left to dehydrate… the main difference between black tea and green tea is the fact that the latter is exposed to a lesser amount of this process and as such it undergoes a minimal oxidization.
This small fact allows it to becoming rich in Catechin Polyphenols, particularly Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), which is a powerful anti-oxidant.
This allows it to be 200 times more effective than Vitamins E and C.
Among its many health benefits, we presented with the following:
- Kills and inhibits cancer cells without harming healthy tissue.
- It has benn effective in lowering LDL cholesterol Levels.
- It prevents thrombosis (the formation of abnormal blood clots) the leading cause of heart attacks and strokes.
- It reduces the formation of “Free radicals”.
- Protects against infections and respiratory diseases.
- And new studies in china, sponsored by The Micheal J. Fox Foundation are finding a link between Green Tea and the reparation to brain cells caused by Parkinsons Disease.
- It helps with burning Calories and weight loss.
In a way this brew is sort of like the “French Paradox”. For years researchers were confounded by the fact that, despite a very rich diet in fat, the French had a lower incidence of heart disease than Americans. In the end it was discovered that red wine contained a fair amount of resveratrol, a substance that limits the effects of smoking and fat intake. Researchers have found that EGCG is two times as powerful as resveratrol…
So a cup or two a day may very well help with a more fulfilling lifespan and a greater appreciation of eastern culture. It comes as no surprise that the populace of the Orient have us beat among the highest lifespan in the planet.
